Day #142 at 365 Cards

So I recently discovered a really cool blog. It's called 365 Cards (365cards.blogspot.com). Each day, they issue a new challenge to make a card with certain requirements. On Monday, the challenge was to create a card that took its inspiration from the movie/book series Twilight. While I'm not the biggest fan, I have read the books and have enjoyed them. So I decided to take this one on.

While I don't really think "Love Bites" I thought it worked with the vampire theme. This card had to have three things:

1-A black background
2-A patterned paper where the main color is red
3-Rhinestones and/or glitter

I think my favorite part of this card has to be the glitter letters. Yes.

Don't forget to Play!

I love my Cricut. Everything on this card (minus the button) was cut out with my cricut. I used Zooballoo to cut out the grass, the tree, the monkey, the clouds, and the word "PLAY". George and Basic Shapes was my sun, and the words "don't forget to" were cut out with Street Sign. Street Sign could be one of my favorite fonts just because it is very basic allowing it to be very versatile.

The Beginning

So I created this blog to show off the projects that I make at home. Because I am jobless, I spend a lot of my time at home, which does leave me with quite a bit of time to scrapbook. I think I am also unique in the fact that I am a college student. I'm not married, nor do I have any children. Most of the stuff that is out there revolves around scrapbooking the life of children. While I think this is a very good thing, I think it is important to remember the young single adult time of life. It is a time of a lot of change. I have been in several different wards. Since I have graduated, I have only lived in one place for 8 months. Life is very transient right now. I meet new people everyday and have different experiences all of the time. Hopefully this will show how I am trying to remember the life I am currently living.
